Great article Jeff. This is something I have been guilty of for sometime. I train hard but enjoy having a glass of wine maybe a little too often. I knew that it wasn’t good for me but I didn’t realize the extent. Thanks for the info!

    dear jeff
i have a question related to my chest . i have been following your channel on youtube and would like to thank you for bringing out such good and effective exercises to make us look like an athlete . My problem however remains ,with the look of my chest .
My chest is a bit round and not square in shape . what am i supposed to do to make it look more masculine ? should i just focus on my upper chest and completely neglect the lower area for a while ?
My lower area is more prominent as i used to do a lot of puch ups before i got to know about athlean x .
i would be grateful if you could upload a video targeting specific areas of our chest and tell us how we could make it look more masculine . dont want to train my chest in a wrong way 🙂

  3. great article jeff
i need to ask a really important question here related to the chest .
i want to build a masculine chest and not a one that pops out and looks like male boobs . i read some articles on the net and some are advising to focus on the upper chest .
i havent started any serious chest workouts , have been doing the 12 weeks washboard abs .
hope you could help me out here . should i just do upper chest exercises and ignore the lower chest for a while . i want sqare pecs and not those bulky popped out round pecs that look a lot like male boobs .

  6. I really found this informative, as an Army veteran, we work hard, train hard and drink hard. I knew alcohol probably affected my workouts but this opens my eyes to it and how it affects me reaching my physical goals in fitness. Thanks Jeff!
