  2. I have been doing a version of this. After each set I dash to the elliptical or arc trainer fir 60 seconds. My son argues that the walk to the machine (8-12 feet) is cooling me down and I’m not getting benefits if HIIT.
    What do you think?

      I think an 8-12 feet walk is reasonable. Your heart rate is not exactly plummeting during that short space.
