Fantastic Program, even for the little guy with skinny arms!
Awesome program, Im 37 years old, 5’9′ and was about 175lbs when I started. I had skinny arms, love handles and a little beer gut, I was the average guy. Ive never been to a gym, didnt really know how to work out. Ive tried lifting here and there to help my skinny arms but it never helped. Now im on week 12 of AX1 and have a toned core with ab definition, Im more toned all over and have bubbles in my arms called biceps! Ive never skipped or short cut a workout, if this is what 12 weeks can do, can you imagine another 12 weeks? or a year? or a lifestyle? AX2 here is come!
My foray into Athlean X
My first foray into the Athlean world. Have followed on youtube for a few months and learnt so much as regards technique that I decided to jump in with the full program. Cheers
Best program ever
The best thing about the program is that the workout routine has a video for each workout to help you and the nutrition plan is simple to follow and have alternate choices to choose from.
Learning a lot of stuff and technique I didn’t know before. Now I can feel the difference just bc.
I wish I could give it 4.5
First off, I absolutely loved AX-1. Before I started the program, I was really confused. I had found myself lost in the sea of information that we have available at our fingertips. I was going to the gym consistently, but kind of just winging it every time. I’d focus on the exercises I wanted to do, not the exercises I needed to do. I was counting every calorie I was taking in but wasn’t really seeing any results. Jeff puts it all into perspective. Makes meal planning simple and keeps you progressing. My biggest complaint is the 2-day break period on the weekends. I’d be lying if part of me didn’t wonder what I would look like if I was lifting 5 days a week, vs lifting 3 and conditioning for 2. Personally, it’s hard for me to see the results on my body because I didn’t properly document it. Also, there’s a good possibility I’m completely underestimating the time it takes to get truly ripped. Plus, I didn’t monitor my alcohol intake. Like at all. Ok, more wine and less beer. That being said, my friends and family talk about me as if I’m a new person, so I’m just going to keep trusting Jeff.
Strenght and agility - for EVERYONE.
I was looking for something, that could help me achieve my goals: more strength, more speed, more stamina. This program does it all. Even when you’re 65 year old woman. True, I have to slightly modify some exercises, but now, that I’m on week 11, that happens less often. I definitely got what I was looking for. And I have already purchased the AX2. Thanks, Jeff. I’m enjoying your workouts very much.
great starting point..
started with the AX-1 program. it’s a great program for beginners. it’s very helpful with organizing the workouts and meals. also helps with correct form instructions. will be moving on to another program soon.

I have completed the AX1 program 4 times and it is great! I have built a lot of muscle (and confidence) through the creative and comprehensive workouts. Looking forward to trying more programs!
