I deal mostly with high school athletes and in socal I see a good number of baseball players, particularly pitchers. These kids play ball almost year around. I’m a soft tissue guy who wants to see these kids get stronger, throw harder, get more pop on the ball without getting injured. I have been watching your videos for a while and have gotten some good helpful info from you in my quest to keep improving, thank you. Do you have sport specific programs, which of your programs should I point baseball players to? Thanks for all that you do and continued success. Dr Bill

In terms of losing fat. I would have to say calisthenics will do the trick but not any calisthenics, high intensity yraining. Go on your phone’s app store an search up freeletics. At first you will HATE it. But in time you’ll start to love it.

  4. Good day Jeff!

Love the videos and advice. Based on this article, I think I am in the 16%-19% body fat range. I am 32 y/o, 5′ 8.5″ in height and 75 kg in weight. I can only work out to a minimum of 1x to a max of 3x a week in the gym. I do home workouts whenever I can. I usually eat breakfast and lunch only. I have invested in some dumb bells and resistance bands to aid in my home workouts. Is it possible to be in the 8%-10% given my situation? I feel I am not progressing. Can you direct me to your videos/articles that you think will be most helpful? Thank you in advance and more power!

    Hi Jeff,
You re videos are truly awesome because there is avery strong scientific base to them. I am hopeful that you will be able to help me with a work out woe that I am currently struggling with.
I am left handed and as a result my left side is my stronger side but the problem is that as a result no matter how much of the mind muscle connection I try to do to focus on my right side i still find much greater development on my left side rather then my right side.I have started doing compound exercises and exrcises that make me exercise both side simultaneously but still find my left side more sore then the right side the next day and even during exercise the left side fatigues faster as it is still taking bulk of the workload.

  11. Hay Jeff,

I just subscribed to your channel this week and I am hooked on watching them. My prom is in 2 months and I’m trying to lose extra fat and tone up. I am 5’5 and a part of the 20-24% body fat range, but my arms are shredded. I lack lower chest muscle and core muscles. Also having trouble with love handles. I would appreciate it if you would give my a few tips on these problems I am having.

    Thank you

Im guessing im in the 30% range….. I am 46 and its very hard to be on a diet…. I have never lifted weights obviously, i played with them just never stuck with it and that was years ago when they had concrete wrapped in plastic….. So weight lifting is very new to me and i dont know the terminology that you guys use….. So im starting out not knowing anything except what i hear from your video’s, which are great by the way…. So i have a couple of questions for you: 1 should i try and lose some weight before i start lifting. 2 when do i need to start taking suppliments and which ones do i need to take…..

  14. A lot of you are asking what to do.
Isn’t it obvious, start the ahlean x program and follow their diet plan. That will impact your life the most. The workouts there are great but without a proper meal plan you aren’t going nowhere fast.

I used to do parkour for about 6 years straight, at least 6 hours daily, even in the winter, ate like s**t, still built muscle but not much of a definition and no six pack. Well that was years back, now i have done the athlean program for 4 weeks and my body fat has gone from 23% to 17% (3-way caliper method). I do not follow the meal plan to the letter as i am from another country and some things aren’t really my taste. But as Jeff has said in the program and in many videos, that the meal plan is pretty flexible, as long as you eat more or less of the right stuff and every 2,5-3 hours.

Anyways i recommend using the program and learning about a proper meal plan. Rest will take care of itself pretty easily. Sometimes i wonder what i would look like if i would have had a proper meal plan during the parkour years XD

Oh well, too bad you can’t lose fat on a curd and peanuts covered in chocolate only diet =D

  16. Can I simply just say what a relief to discover someone that genuinely understands what they are discussing on the internet.

You definitely understand how to bring a problem to light and make it important.
More and more people must look at this and understand
this side of the story. I can’t believe you aren’t more popular because
    you certainly have the gift.

Based on the pictures I’d say I am fluctuating between the 10-11 and 13-15% BF range. I want to get to 8-10% BF. I pretty much eat clean save for the occasional meal for vanity sake.

I finished AX-1 and halfway done with AX-2. I try to follow the guideline of the AX meal plans but the problem is the number of helpings I should have. I know you need a lean protein, fiberous carbs such as veggies and complex carbs like sweet potatoes.

I’m turning 28 this November and I want to get stay at 8-10% BF but I’m at a crossroads. Don’t know what else I can do. Any tips would be helpful.

  18. First, thanks for all the information you provide. Very interesting, informative, & challenging! I just finished my first month’s supply of Dr. C’s Omega 3’s. It’s currently my only supplement. I’m nearly 40 and trying to be in the best shape of my life for multiple reasons, one of those being to challenge my children. I am interested in Athlean Xero. I am already below my ultimate desired weight as I lost over 25 pounds 2 years ago and have kept it off. I need to lose about 2 pounds but to get back up to my ideal weight I would like to gain 7 – 10 pounds of muscle. Can I put muscle weight on from Athlean Xero without taking creatine and doubling my caloric intake? I’m nervous about burning even more calories and losing more weight.

What does a muscular male look like with 20 percent body fat. Also a male with 10 percent body fat with little muscle. It would be helpful to view pictures with this scenarios.

Try intermittent fasting. Look it up and do it properly along with your normally exercising. It’ll do wonders for anyone, but helps those age 30+ more 🙂
