Last week I showed you how to progress ab planks from a basic intro level exercise into a pure BEASTLY core challenge with just a few tweaks.
Well…even if you were able to master the “Super Plank” it’s not time to start thinking that you’re at the top of your game yet with no room for improvement.
You see, in my experience, it’s the athletes who think that they are the best that always get picked off unexpectedly and fall victim to the “upset”, while the ones who take nothing for granted and constantly look to become better are more resilient to this. That said…Which are you?
When I created ATHLEAN-X, I did it with two training goals in mind…and that was to be able to:
1. Challenge you regardless of your current physical level, strength or ability. “Meet you where you’re at” is what I like to say.
AND THEN
2. Constantly give you ways to get better and better so that you NEVER PLATEAU! “Take you to where you want to be” in other words.
Well, not only is this week’s and last week’s video a prime example of this…but it’s just one small glimpse of how I automatically build this principle into every single workout of ATHLEAN-X.
Doing this over the course of 90 days has allowed me to create a training system that has produced more dramatic changes in muscularity and body composition (fat loss) than any of our competitors.
Remember, there’s a great quote that says “The minute you settle for less than you deserve, you get even less than you settled for.” Apply that to your training and you’ll be amazed at what you’re capable of achieving!
STAY STRONG…
Jeff
PS. Be sure to also watch this week’s video to discover the difference between AB STRENGTH and AB STABILITY. Getting this wrong can make all the difference in whether or not your abs will be showing in time for Summer!
