Two Words…MUSCLE BALANCE By far…one of the most important things you can strive for in your workout.
If you’re an athlete it’s pretty obvious why it’s important, but did you know that even if you’re not an athlete…but just looking to get in the best shape you can, Muscle Balance is CRUCIAL!!
Watch the video to see my quick fix for Muscle Imbalance (and not for the reason you might think!) Having one shoulder bigger than the other or one arm stronger than the other can not only lead to an aesthetically uneven look….but even more importantly, it may be holding back your results in the gym…significantly!
The reason is simple. When muscles are not balanced…compensations occur during EVERY LIFT YOU PERFORM. This Video Shows A “Built In” Correction to Any Set!
These compensations are almost NEVER a good thing because:
– They only feed further into whatever weaknesses you have.
– They start causing previously strong muscles to become weak
– They lead to injuries.
As a physical therapist and trainer to guys that absolutely CANNOT afford to sacrifice even one iota of strength, power, or muscle development… I realized that it was time to create a workout program that stopped feeding into imbalances….but instead corrected them…knowing that this would actually OPTIMIZE YOUR SHORT TERM AND LONG TERM RESULTS!
The rest as they say is history. And so can your strength and/or muscle size imbalances…starting today.

“undoubtedly helped me to get in the best shape of my career. From 16.7% body fat when I started working with Jeff in 2006 to a consistent 9.5% now. With the workouts I’m managing to add more lean muscle every year and I feel as balanced and strong at the plate as I ever have!”
There’s that word again!
